Waterloo Pumpkinfest Art Contest: Please congratulate Sophia Kipping and Leah Schlemmer when/if you see them this week. Sophia won 1st place for her colored pencil piece and Leah won 3rd place for her pen & ink piece.
Tennis Results: The Hawks ended their 2025 season with a victory over Metro East Lutheran Knights, 5-4. Congratulations to the individual winners: Singles3-Sophie Winkeler, 8-1, S4-Kaila Jerkatis, 8-3. Doubles1-Brie Miller & Myra Coats, 8-1, D2-Sophie Winkeler & Kaila Jerkatis, 8-0, D3-Anastasia Melvin & Cassidy Gregson, 9-7. A SPECIAL shout-out to Anastasia and Cassidy whose close 9-7 victory broke a 4-4 tie to give the Hawks the 5-4 win over the Knights. GOOD LUCK to Brie Miller, Myra Coats, Sophie winkeler, and Kaila Jerkatis who will represent Gibault at the Carbondale Sectional on Friday, Oct. 17th.
