Brad Diecker Innovation Commons Supervisor

Brad Diecker started as the Innovation Commons Supervisor in 2025, and is currently in his third season as Head Coach of the JV baseball program. Brad graduated from Gibault in 2005, while at Gibault he was a member of both the varsity golf and baseball teams. Brad received a BA in Political Science from SIU-Carbondale in 2009 and is currently studying to get his Master’s degree in Teaching (Secondary Education) from SIU-Edwardsville.
After graduating from Gibault, Brad joined the United States Air Force as a flight medic. During his extensive career in the Air Force, Brad has been stationed at Lackland AFB in Texas, Ramstein Air Base in Germany, Scott AFB in Illinois, Kelly AFB in Texas, and volunteered to deploy to Afghanistan in 2010. As a flight medic Brad is accredited with evacuating over 650+ patients, flew 71 combat missions, and amassed a total of 877 flight hours. Brad has been awarded the U.S. Air Medal, Air Force Aerial Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Achievement Medal among several others.
