MATH TEAM:
On Saturday the Math Team competed in the Regional at SWIC. Overall, we finished 5th out of 10 schools.
We had 5 students qualify for State:
Algebra 1: Emme Doerr – 2nd
Audric Doetsch – 6th
Geometry: Maggie Altes – 2nd
Cole Frierdich – 6th
Evan Niebruegge – 7th
Our Geometry Team (Maggie, Cole, & Evan) and Freshmen/Sophomore 2-person team (Maggie & Cole) also qualified for State.
Those 5 combined to WIN the Regional in the Freshman/Sophomore 8-person team.
MUSICAL:
Musical practice for the main characters will be in the auditorium today. Bring a pencil.
TRACK:
Track practice after school today, start in Mr. Parks’ room.
VOLLEYBALL:
There will be a meeting on Wednesday, March 4th at 8am in the Commons to discuss the upcoming season.
RETREAT DAY:
There is a retreat opportunity for young women on March 14th from 9am – 2:30pm at St. Nicholas Parish. See Mrs. Miskell if you are interested.
A DAY IN THE TRADES:
Reminder to register for a Day in the Trades if you are interested in this career exploration field trip. The event will focus on careers and new technology in manufacturing. The deadline to register is Wednesday. See Mrs. Kovarik for assistance.
