YOUTH GROUP:

All Gibault students are invited to the Youth Group Fall Kick Off at the Saints Peter & Paul Youth House this Sunday, September 21, 6:00-8:00pm.  Expect snacks, planning, prayer, and fun.  See flyer on the Theology bulletin board for further details.

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTER:

The role of an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion is a powerful responsibility.  If you would like to learn more and to receive training for this sacred ministry, please sign up with Mrs. Miskell for one of the sessions scheduled for next Wednesday, September 24th.

GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Students interested in playing on the girls’ basketball this season should meet with Mr. Parks at the beginning of House on Monday, Sept 22nd.

Boys Soccer: 

The boys won 5-0 over East Alton Wood River last night.  Goals by Josh Lanham (2), Drew Hagedorn (1), & Nolan Snell (1).  Assists by Kaden Huels (2), Brexton Poetker (1), Drew Hagedorn (1), & Nolan Snell (1)                                                                             Shutout by Sam Ballone.    Huge thankyou to the super fans that attended the game!

Girls Tennis

Tennis team fell short in a close match against Bunker Hill, losing 5-4.

Individual winners: Singles 2-Myra Coats, 4-2;4-1, Singles 4-Kaila Jerkaitis, 4-0; 4-0

Doubles1-Brie Miller & Myra Coats,4-3;4-0, D2-Sophia Winkeler & Kaila Jerkaitis, 4-3;4-0

So far this season, Myra Coats leads the team with 4 singles wins while Sohpie Winkeler & Kaila Jerkaitis are undefeated as Doubles 2 partners with 3 wins.  Overall, the Hawks are 3-3!
