Empowering Minds, enriching souls
we are gibault
OUR MISSION
Gibault Catholic High School, a Catholic educational community, celebrates the dignity and uniqueness of every person, cultivates lifelong learning and the pursuit of excellence, fosters faith, inspires commitment to justice and service, and works to develop a life-affirming relationship to the world.
Enrichment fridays
Enrichment Fridays provide Gibault students and staff with intentional time away from the traditional school day to support personal, spiritual, and academic growth. During the 2026-2027 school year, students will have nine scheduled Fridays off, offering opportunities to volunteer in the community, attend Mass, participate in college visits, gain work experience, and recharge. These days are designed to promote balance, enrichment, and continued development beyond the classroom.
.....................................................................
"These days will allow students to be out in the world - recharge, exploring opportunities and interests, learning self-reliance, trying new things, expressing themselves, working toward a vocation. Enrichment Fridays are a chance to live out the lessons we are teaching them" - Haley Kovarik, Assistant Principal, Class of 2010.
hall of distinction
We are proud to announce the launch of our new Hall of Distinction, created in honor of Gibault's 60th anniversary. The Hall of Distinction honors alumni and friends who exemplify the school’s mission through their personal and professional lives. This recognition celebrates those who have made a lasting impact on Gibault, the Church, and the broader community. It expands the school’s tradition of honoring excellence by recognizing contributions beyond athletics and military service. Watch the YouTube video below for more details and fill out a nomination form for yourself or an exceptional individual below.
honoring HUSTEDDE
After four decades of faithful service, our gym needs upgrades to serve the next generation. We are adding handrails to the bleachers, creating safer, more accessible seating for grandparents, alumni, and every fan who fills these stands. We are redoing the lobby floor, welcoming students, families, and visitors with a space that reflects the pride we feel for Gibault. And most importantly, we are adding air conditioning. Because our students, athletes, guests, and community deserve comfort, whether it’s a volleyball game in August, a school-wide Mass in September, or a graduation ceremony in May.
This gym has held 40 years of moments. Now, we ensure it holds 40 more.
