Katrina Korsmeyer Ag Instructor

Miss Korsmeyer joined Gibault Catholic High School in the Fall 2026 as the Agriculture Education teacher and FFA advisor, bringing a lifelong passion for agriculture and agricultural leadership. Raised on a family farm with beef cattle, laying chickens, and row crops including corn, soybeans, wheat, and alfalfa, she developed a strong appreciation for the agricultural industry at an early age.

A graduate of Highland High School, Miss Korsmeyer earned her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education from Illinois State University. During her time in FFA, she was heavily involved in numerous events and Career Development Events (CDEs), and she earned the prestigious American FFA Degree, the organization’s highest degree awarded at the national level.

Outside of the classroom, Miss Korsmeyer enjoys reading, line dancing, spending time around cattle, and driving Oliver tractors. She is excited to build a strong FFA chapter at Gibault, create meaningful opportunities for students, and share her enthusiasm for agriculture with the next generation of Hawks.
