Karl O’Brien has been part of our Social Studies department since fall of 2020. He teaches SLU US and World History an World History to sophomores. He previously taught US and World History at Grandview High School in Hillsboro, Missouri, and served as an ACT tutor at Lindbergh High School in St. Louis.  Karl is the sponsor of our Scholastic Bowl team.

Karl has a goldfish named Spooky. In his spare time, he enjoys retro video and card gaming, reading and writing, playing piano, trumpet, and guitar, and traveling.
