Grant Higgerson joined Gibault Catholic High School as a theology teacher in Fall 2026. A Waterloo native and Gibault alumnus from the Class of 2022, Grant is excited to return to his hometown and alma mater after graduating from Franciscan University of Steubenville.

A lifelong Catholic, Grant has always made his faith a central part of his life. During his time at Franciscan, he served on multiple missionary and retreat teams, sharing the Catholic faith with students through retreats and mission work. One of his most meaningful experiences was serving on a mission trip to Arizona, where he helped lead retreats and teach students at a Catholic grade school. He also spent a semester studying abroad in Europe, where he developed an even deeper appreciation for the rich history and beauty of the Catholic faith.

Grant is grateful for the opportunity to return to Gibault, where he hopes to inspire students to grow in both their faith and academic pursuits while helping them discover the unique gifts God has given them.
