Scholarships

Students are sent scholarship packets once an application to Gibault Catholic High School has been received.

Father Ed. Hustedde Scholarships

Gibault Catholic High School offers Father Edwin H. Hustedde Scholarships in Technology, Fine Arts, and Service for $500 each. These scholarships are made possible through a scholarship fund that was established in Fr. Ed’s name. Fr. Ed was the founder of Gibault and passed away on June 6, 2004, after battling cancer. He bequeathed funds to Gibault designated for scholarships to help students receive a Catholic education. The scholarship fund continues to grow through private donations. Interested donors may contact the school for more information. The annual distribution will be 5 percent of the fund’s principal. Evidence of the distribution of these scholarships will be noted, without reference to recipients, in the Gibault annual report.

All incoming freshmen may apply for the Father Hustedde Scholarships. Please submit all applications by March 31. Our scholarship committee will review the information, select the recipients, and notify the scholarship recipients by May 1.

Fr. Pierre Gibault Merit Scholarships

Gibault Catholic offers incoming freshmen Fr. Pierre Gibault Merit Scholarships based on placement test scores. Any student who scores in the 90th-94th percentile on the placement test automatically qualifies for a $1000 scholarship which is renewable for all four years of high school, if the student maintains a 3.5 GPA. Additionally, any student who scores in the 95th percentile or higher automatically receives a $2,500 scholarship that is renewable, if the student maintains a 3.8 GPA. We value academic excellence just like you do. It’s our pleasure to reward your student’s hard work with merit-based scholarships.

Assumption Alumni Scholarships

The Assumption Alumni Scholarship is a four-year scholarship for ALL students who want to attend a Catholic high school but have financial need. This scholarship is awarded after Income Adjusted Tuition has already been awarded. We encourage families to apply for this scholarship to help offset the cost of Income Adjusted Tuition that Gibault is already awarding.
