Volunteer and Service Opportunities: The Lion’s Club is looking for volunteers for the Monster Truck and AutoCross event on Saturday, May 9th. Volunteers would need to report to the Monroe County Fairgrounds at 3pm and will be done by 9pm. Please sign up in the office by May 1. Any questions please see Mrs. Wagner.
The Rummage Sale is coming up and they are looking for volunteers to help set up and work the day of the sale. Please sign up in the office.
Friendly reminder that all students need to complete 10 service hours. This must be completed to attend Prom/Post Prom and to take Final Exams. We have many students that have not turned in any service hours. Stop by the office if you have any questions.
Baseball: The Varsity Baseball team won their 5th straight last night, beating Okawville 18-8. We totaled 12 extra base hits, led by a STATE RECORD 4 doubles by Nolan Snell. Noah Koeninger had 2 triples! Dylan Schaefer and Robert Pierpoint each had 2 extra-base hits. Gus Schmidt had 3 hits and 3 RBI. Garrett Patton earned the win on the mount out of the bullpen. We will play in Chester at 4pm tonight.
Track Results: Mens results: 6th out of 12th. Oscar Gedris broke the school record for Discus and also won 1st in the Triple Jump. Women’s results: 4th out of 12th. Emelia Doerr placed 1st in high jump, Helen Hess placed 1st in long jump and Elly Goeddel placed 1st in 100 and 200 meters and broke the school record. Congratulations to everyone.
