Last night was the awards ceremony for the VFW Art Contest. The 3 winners from Gibault received their checks and certificates Lily Register 1st in 2-D, Sophia Kipping 2nd in 2-D, Emma Lubenkov 1st in 3-D.
The big surprise was they announced that Emma placed 3rd in the State Competition. That’s out of all the 1st place winners from all the VFW halls in IL.
