Haley Kovarik Assistant Principal | English Instructor | English Department Chair
Haley (Riebeling) Kovarik has been an English instructor at Gibault Catholic since the fall of 2018. Haley teaches junior and senior SLU English, serves as English Department Chair, and sponsors the Student Activities Board. In August 2025, Haley also became the Assistant Principal.
Haley is a 2010 Gibault graduate and attended Saint Louis University where she earned both her Bachelor of Arts in English (2013) and Master of Arts in English (2015). Prior to coming home to Gibault, Haley worked as a Learning Specialist and Academic Advisor at Southwestern Illinois College.
Haley is married to Marty Kovarik (Class of 2009), and together they have two beautiful children, Tess and Patrick, who are future Gibault Hawks. In her free time, she loves sports, cooking, card games, and trivia.
