Elizabeth (Renner) Hess has been the Director of Marketing at Gibault since the fall of 2020 and entered our Development Office in the summer of 2023. She also serves as the instructor of our marketing class. Elizabeth first joined the Gibault staff as the permanent substitute teacher where she was able to get an up-close look at all the amazing things happening in our classrooms. Elizabeth previously worked in public relations and marketing before taking some time away to be a stay-at-home mom.

Elizabeth is a 2002 Gibault graduate. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Southeast Missouri State University in only three years, thanks to the college credits gained at Gibault. Elizabeth comes from a proud Gibault family. Her parents, Dave Renner and Judy (Pautler) Renner, are both Gibault grads.  Elizabeth and her husband, Darren, are also Gibault parents with daughter, Helen in the Class of 2027, and Hazel to follow in 2031!
