We’re #gibaultproud of our March Artist of the Month, senior Krona Newton!

Krona lives in Columbia, Illinois, and is both a traditional and digital artist and animator. Krona will attend the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in the fall of 2024 and plans to major in animation. Krona’s favorite medium is digital art. Krona draws inspiration from personal experiences as well as conceptually strange or discomforting subject matter and has recently focused on depictions of angel wings.

Gibault Catholic took part in a friendly competition with the other county high schools in this year’s Monroe County Farm Bureau Food and Item Drive. Gibault students and staff earned a dress down day for donating. All donations will benefit local organizations in Monroe County. We’re #gibaultproud to take part in community events like these! ... We have some weather-related changes to Monday’s schedule:

Girls’ Soccer has been moved up to 4 p.m.

Softball has been moved up to 4 p.m.

Baseball at Belleville West has been cancelled.

Also, there is a JV Baseball game at Father McGivney on Wed, 3/27 at 4:30 p.m.
